Satish Kaushik passes away: Tusshar Kapoor says he is ‘speechless’ – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News

In a shocking piece of news, actor-writer-director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 in Gurugram on March 8. His body will be brought to Mumbai after a postmortem is conducted.

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, expressing shock, told ETimes, “I still haven’t been able to come to terms with the terrible news I’ve woken up to this morning! Speechless right now as I’m struggling to wrap myself around the shock and it all continues to seem unbelievable! Words cannot describe what Satish ji meant to me and my journey in the film industry, it all began with him and he was like a father to me! He was an Institution in his own right and now with his passing on a huge loss to our fraternity! My prayers are with his soul and my deepest Condolences to his family and friends like me! Will miss you sir, until we’re back on set together again! Goodbye and RIP.”

Satish had directed Tusshar Kapoor in his debut movie Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, co-starring Kareena Kapoor in 2001. The movie went on to become a blockbuster. The two had also worked as co-stars in Hum Tum Shabana, co-starring Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba, Sanjay Mishra and others.
