A throwback clip that sees the star and his daughter Vanshika, nailing the choreography to the viral song ‘Savage Love’ has taken over the internet.
According to actress Sushmita Mukherjee, Satish went all out to maintain a healthy lifestyle because he wanted to ‘live for my 10-year-old daughter Vanshika,’ AajTak reported. In her interview with the portal, Mukherjee revealed that Satish lost some weight and quit alcohol and non-veg food and even began walking a lot to keep up with a healthy lifestyle.
“I don’t know how this (his death) happened,” she said.
Kaushik, was at a friend’s home in Delhi when he began to feel uneasy.
His friend and colleague Anupam Kher told PTI, “He told his driver to take him to the hospital… he suffered a heart attack around 1 am on the way.”
The post-mortem was conducted at Delhi’s Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where foul play was ruled out as a cause of death.
“Whenever a death is reported, we carry out routine proceedings under CrPC Section 174. The aim is to ascertain if the demise occurred under mysterious circumstances or if the person died of unnatural causes,” said Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Manoj C.
The last rites of the actor will be held in Mumbai this evening, Kaushik’s manager Santosh Rai said in a statement.
